The most critical component of any event, meeting or stage show. Julius is a qualified audio engineer, offering audio-visual production.
Music venues will love our 5 year on-site warranty. If it is borked, we change it out, super fast. We are brand agnostic too! Long time live sound and lighting purveyors.
Technology has created amazing tools to enhance events and shows. Julius is a qualified lighting designer. PA system design too.
Julius was taught by the hippies. Yep! You too can have a hippy lightshow and pretend it is 1969! Without LSD.
You expect smooth, seamless, professional service and presentation. Test my proposal for your next meeting, launch, gala or party. Chances are you've been overcharged before.
Before your EOI, quote request or tender, I can give you perspective and options around what you need and assist you in choosing brands and a reliable vendor.
No event, show, fair or meeting is too small (or big!), and simple cost effective solutions are what I'm famous for. I've worked on many diverse projects including exhibitions.

My career started in stage lighting in 1973, and I went on to light almost everything. Serious works included theatre; I designed lighting for 'The Cakeman', a Bobby Merritt play, and was mentored by the late Roger Barratt, acclaimed as one of Australia's greatest lighting designers. Events I designed or worked on include the first three Sydney Festivals with outdoor concerts at the Opera House on new year's eve, and the Art Gallery Society Christmas Party between 1976 and 1978 for Leslie Walford. I have lit conventions, fashion parades, dance, rock concerts, parks, buildings and waterfalls.
Across the 1980's I toured live audio and production, established Graftons Sound & Lighting (sold in 1988) and set up the Australian Monitor brand manufacturing amplifiers and speaker systems.
1990 saw me establish what is today CX Magazine, the AV industry trade journal. I sold CX in 2019. In 1994 I established ENTECH, the industry trade-show which continues today as ENTECH Roadshow, held nationally each March.
Until 2011 I ran Julius Events College, a registered training organisation delivering Diploma of Technical Production, Theatre and Events from a campus at Rydalmere.
